Ford Tri-Motor Event and Ride Program - "Have You Flown In A Ford Lately?"

SPECIAL EVENT & RIDE PROGRAMS

We just LOVE to share the Ford Tri-Motor with people!  We love airshows and fly-ins, pancake flips, and barnstorming!  That's what this airplane is for!  Doesn't everyone wish they could travel back in time, literally?  Do you ever close your eyes and dream of riding in one of the world's first, all-metal commercial airliner - the Ford Tri-Motor?  Well wait no longer because your dreams can now come true!  Ford Tri-Motor N414H is one of the most famous of the 199 Tri-Motors ever built and one of only a handful still flying today.  And we are available for attending airshows, special events, offering rides to the general public, or for private charters.  In its 80 year history, several hundred thousand passengers have had the experience to ride in this very special aircraft, but now it is an extremely rare experience for most people.  And it would make an excellent gift for your someone-special!  This time machine is for real, and if you are looking for a sure way to improve attendance at your event and share a very rare experience with your guests, please contact us now!

PROGRAM SUMMARY

This is an original vintage golden-age airplane and it is priceless.  It's first flight was September 4, 1929 and it is one of just six known Ford Tri-Motors still flying in the world today.  It is the only Ford in the Western half of the United States available for type ratings, special charters, and for rides for hire to the public .  It is not very simple to move around and it takes careful planning and coordination.  It is a very VFR (visual flight rules, or perfect weather required) airplane, and usually cruises about 90 miles an hour in great conditions.  With only a select few qualified pilots able to fly the airplane (which is not their normal day job) we appreciate as much advanced notice as possible to schedule everything effectively in order to attend your special event.

To attend most events, we generally require a flat fee which covers the fixed costs required for round trip travel from our location to yours and back.  This fee will cover the costs for fuel, oil, insurance, and crew costs.  We also may require provided hotel rooms, meal per diems or meals, crew car (or provided ground transportation), and hangar space or tie-downs.  We will customize quotes on a case-by-case basis and make this opportunity as affordable as we can for you.

We generally offer rides to the public for between $50 - $75 per person for an approximately 15 minute ride, and we can generally give two to three rides per hour, weather, air traffic control, and passenger demand permitting.  We have 10 passenger seats in the main cabin, and we also can offer a ride in the co-pilot seat for any certified pilot for an additional fee.  There is a maximum weight restriction of 250 lbs per person.  Children of all ages are welcome, but we do require and parent or guardian to accompany and assist as needed.  There are no flight attendants on the flights.

The Ford Tri-Motor is also available for special charter flights, which is great for small groups, families, weddings, or corporate events.  Charter flights begin at $1900 / hour, and are billed with a one hour minimum and then by the 10th of an hour increments for additional time.  Charters are also quoted on a case-by-case basis.

We are able to offer rides to the public under FAA Part 91.

The aircraft will NOT be placed in any unnecessary peril and safety for our crew, our passengers, and the airplane is our number one priority and simply non-negotiable.

This is truly a wonderful experience and we love to share the airplane with the general public and promote aviation and honor the pioneer aircraft and individuals who have made it what it is today.  Don't miss this opportunity!
